PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPA KELAS V DI UPTD SDN 122381 PEMATANG SIANTAR

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on student learning outcomes in the subject of science for grade V of UPTD SDN 122381 Pematang Siantar. The method in this study is a quantitative method with an experimental type, using a Pre-Experimental Design research design with the type of One Group Pretest and Posttest. The population in this study were all students of UPTD SDN 122381 Pematang Siantar, while the sample used was 22 grade V students. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with two research variables, namely the independent variable (X) in the form of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and the dependent variable (Y) in the form of student learning outcomes. The data collection technique used is a test technique. The results of hypothesis testing using the t-test (Paired Sample t-test) with the help of the SPSS version 21 program. Based on the results of the calculation with the t-test, the calculated t value was 28.381 which was then compared with the t table of 2.048 at a significance level of 5%. The difference is said to be significant if the calculated t > t table. Because the calculated t (28.381) > t table (2.048), then H₀ is rejected and Hₐ is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the use of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on student learning outcomes in science subjects at UPTD SDN 122381 Pematang Siantar.
