PENGARUH MEDIA GAMBAR TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN SISWA DALAM MENULIS PUISI KELAS V SDN 097326 SIRANGGITGIT

Abstract

The image media method needs to be applied to foster a spirit of learning and help students find ideas. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of image media on students' ability to write poetry in grade V of SDN 097326 Siranggitgit. Data collection techniques in this study were using poetry writing instruments and documentation. The population of this study was 20 students. This study used quantitative methods. Data analysis techniques used were validation tests, reliability tests, normality tests, difficulty tests, discrimination power and t tests. The results of data processing that have been carried out show positive results, meaning that the resulting influence is positive. The results of this study indicate that variable X1 (Image media) and variable X2 (Student writing ability) have a positive and significant influence on variable Y (Student learning outcomes) at SDN 097326 Siranggitgit. This can be seen from the results of the t test and homogeneity test that have been carried out, the t test results t count = 12,594 then searched for t table with (dk) = (n-1), dk = 20-1) = 19 at a significance level of 5% or α = 0.05, then from the t distribution table obtained the value of t (19) = 1.295 because t count> r table namely 12.67> 1.295 thus H1 is accepted and Ho is rejected so it can be concluded that there is an average difference between the learning outcomes of the pretest and posttest meaning there is an influence of image media on students' abilities in writing poetry. Based on the above data it can be done that the use of image media models has an effect on students' abilities in writing compared to learning without image media.
